omg!!!

omg!! how could i forget to write this????

last week when i cycled to the mall (to buy a birthday card for a friend), a young european lady with a pram happened to be crossing the road with me, we entered the mall from the same entrance...
after i've done my little shopping (a card for him and a few chocolates for me) i went to the same entrance, eventually the same lady happened to leaving too, but this time a young handsome arab man in a suit was pushing the pram for her...
i walked through the door into the parking lot before them...
as soon as the passed the doors i hear the guy saying (almost shouting) "how dare u come here!!"
i glance back and the next thing i know the man slaps the lady straight on the face!!!
she doesnt scream she just staggers and in a very calm monotonous voice she tells him to "give her the mobile"
he slaps her twice more! she repeats the same sentence in the same cold monotonous way and he slaps her! AGAIN!
i just stood there frozen, i wanted to cry, i didnt know what to do, i cant stop this guy...if he is able to slap the shit out this lady in front of a mall entrance, in front of the little toddler whos watching this whole scene from his pram, in front of those few others in the parking lot (me, a pizza guy and a driver) then he would probably slap me too if i interfere.
it was a disturbing scene...
then he held her by the arm and told her to "get in the car otherwise next thing you know you will be in the plane"...he pushed her into the car... took the kid, put him in the car....folded the pram and shoved it into the trunk before leaving in a nonchalant manner...
what still bothers me is ...
WHY?
